Rector's invitation

Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear colleagues, and experts,

It is my privileged to extend to you the invitation to contribute to the POL-VIET 2023 — 7^th International Conference POL-VIET, Scientific and research cooperation between Vietnam and Poland. This year, the conference is organized in the beautiful city Krakow, Poland, hosted by the AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH UST).

Since 2013, this biennial conference has been the expected events of academians, researchers, and industrial representatives from Vietnam and Poland to exchange new knowledge and research outcomes. Last time, the 6^th conference was hosted by the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) in Vietnam in the hybrid mode in 2019, to celebrate the 35^th jubilee of the partnership between the AGH UST and the HUMG. The conference was a successful event with 56 qualified papers published in the Journal of the Polish Mineral Engineering Society. Among them, 10 presentations were delivered both online and onsite. Ten posters were also introduced to the audience.

Pol-Viet Conference in 2023 marks the 10^th jubilee of the initiative between AGH UST and HUMG about developing an international conference on scientific and research corporation between the two countries. We understand our key role for a better world by accelerating the transfer of knowledge and technology. We are also aware of the importance of partnership and friendship in the VUCA world. Sustainable development, circular and green economy, renewable energy, adaptation with the climate change, and innovations, are demanding topics nowadays. Thus, we are expecting you to contribute for this conference by submit your recent research outcomes, particpants in sessions and activities and looking forward to meeting you in Krakow for sharing ideas, discussion and best practices of our expertise.
